The name Sibley and Sunset is more than just a name. The logo is more than just a logo. I come from Harvey, IL., a small city on Chicago's south side with a big reputation. Harvey is what some would consider a harsh environment. Not a lot of economic opportunities, but a lot of everything else. Growing up off of Sibley Blvd., (one of the
The name Sibley and Sunset is more than just a name. The logo is more than just a logo. I come from Harvey, IL., a small city on Chicago's south side with a big reputation. Harvey is what some would consider a harsh environment. Not a lot of economic opportunities, but a lot of everything else. Growing up off of Sibley Blvd., (one of the main veins of the city) we were bred to be strong, aggressive, and maybe even a bit stubborn...like a bull. That's how you survived. That was the reality. And the likelihood of rising above the obstacles in our way was similar to that of a kid from the Midwest "making it" in Hollywood or the likeliness of a bull growing wings. So you see, Sibley & Sunset is not just a name. It's a roadmap for following your dreams; it's being rooted in your foundation while reaching for the stars. It's the combination of force and finesse. And that logo, well that just shows that we are not limited by the perceptions placed on us; we possess a strength and resolve of unmatched potential, fearlessly and gracefully reaching new heights...like a bull in flight
